DESCRIPTION:

Kleine Zalze Cape Nectar Blanc is a sweeter-style Cap Classique produced by Kleine Zalze Wines in South Africa. Made from 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir, the grapes are whole-bunch pressed and vinified separately in stainless steel before secondary fermentation in bottle and 18 months maturation on the lees. A generous dosage gives the wine its distinctive off-dry character while fresh acidity keeps the palate lively and balanced. Bottled at 11.5% ABV.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: White peach, honeysuckle and pineapple with fresh citrus and delicate biscotti notes.

Palate: Luscious and fruit-forward with peach and tropical fruit, balanced by vibrant acidity, a fine mousse and gentle sweetness.

Finish: Fresh and lingering with ripe fruit, subtle brioche and a clean, pleasantly off-dry finish.
