This blended Irish whiskey is produced at the Cooley distillery in County Louth. Named after the distillery of the same name dating back to 1757, which takes its name from St Bécán, one of the Twelve Apostles of Ireland who founded a monastery in the area in the 6th century. Matured exclusively in ex-bourbon barrels. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Light and soft with pear drops, apple, vanilla and popcorn notes.
Palate: Soft and delicate with a pleasant grain backbone. Lively, fruity flavours of pears, apples, and citrus.
Finish: Sweet vanilla and cereal notes.
