DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from the Isle of Harris distillery, located on the isle of the same name off the northwest coast, bottled by Adelphi independent bottler. Distilled in 2018, matured for 7 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel, and bottled in 2025. Only 252 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a natural cask strength of 57.9%.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Classic dunnage aromas with nettles, buttermilk, seaweed, black pepper, and oyster shell.

Palate: Savory and maritime — smoked mackerel, langoustines dipped in melted butter, Fisherman’s Friend, followed by some herbal notes, and a squeeze of lemon. 

Finish: Supple, textured, and silky, with a lingering elegance.
