100% Chenin Blanc, this skin-fermented expression offers impressive texture and complexity while remaining fresh and approachable. Produced by exciting Swartland winemaker MC Stander, the wine is crafted from organically farmed vineyards, with additional fruit sourced from local organic and biodynamic growers. A gentle approach in the cellar preserves purity, freshness and a true sense of place. Rich citrus and orchard fruit flavours are complemented by a subtle savoury herbal character, leading to a long, balanced finish. 13% ABV.
Nose: Quince, tangerine peel, kumquat, yellow apple, and dried peaches.
Palate: Orange blossom, beeswax, ginger, cinnamon, and sweet spices.
Finish: Fresh and complex with bright natural acidity, a chalky/flinty minerality, and a light tannic grip from skin contact.
