A very special Great King Street Artist's Blend release exclusive to WhiskyBrother! Blended in the same vein as the standard release, but then married for 14 months in a single cask and then selected and bottled exclusively for us. The blend was filled into an American oak barrel (that previously held Clynelish single malt) for marrying on 11 June 2018 and then bottled on 7 October 2019. Only 228 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a slightly higher 49%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Although each batch varies, the typical Artist's Blend vatting comprises: 46% grain (Cameronbridge) and 54% malt (29% Clynelish, 8% Linkwood and 17% blend of Clynelish, Teaninich, and Dailuaine.)

Brilliant, but

"First a warning - if like me you love the core expression Artist's Blend, be warned that after having this, you may not love it as much any more. The extra abv punch on this one, really takes GKSAB to another level. Love the balance of vanilla, fruit, spice in this one and the lingering finish - swims very well with many mixers, given the extra abv. Highly recommended, but it while you can!"

One of the top 2020 Blends

"As blends go this is one of the best blends of 2020 i have had, lovely fresh nose, reminds me of freshly cut grass. Subtle honey and vanilla notes. The palate has a wonderful Lingering bite, lots of citrus notes dominating in this dram. A must have dram for 2020 indeed."
