The fourth limited edition in Glenmorangie's Bond House No.1 series. Long aged in ex-bourbon casks, this single malt was created from a mixture of whisky finished in ex-Oloroso sherry casks, alongside whisky finished in ex-burgundy casks. After 26 years of maturation, these spirits were then combined with a small amount of whisky aged in new toasted oak and married for around four months before bottling. Distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2018. Bottled at 43%.

Nose: Deep and mellow, laden with apricots, plum and baked apples. Then comes chocolate, with a gentle hint of oak, alongside truffles and star anise.

Palate: Peppery on the palate, before a burst of fruit with stewed apples, plum, ripe cherries and raspberries, swathed in milk chocolate.

Finish: A hint of Glenmorangie’s signature citrus notes, followed by waves of oak, fruit and sweet spices.
