Launched in 2015 the Glenlivet Founder's Reserve has taken its place as the entry expression in the core range. The whisky is matured in a "variety of traditional aged oak casks", then married together in a selection of aged oak casks and American first-fill casks. The whisky is named in honour of the distillery's founder, George Smith, and represents the classic Glenlivet style. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Soft notes of citrus.

Palate: A vanilla sweetness with orange zest and pears, along with hints of toffee apples and candy.

Finish: Creamy and easy drinking with a shortish finish.
