"Although this is one of the first whiskies I got started on, I still revisit it regularly for easy and enjoyable dramming. Also always a crowd pleaser with friends at braais and get togethers. It is as good as it used to be, which says a lot these days. Creamy, fruit, smooth and juts a sprinkle of spice on the finish."
"Fell in love with whisky when I sampled this bottle and the Glenfiddich 12 way back in 2010. Had to buy myself a bottle so began the collection. Such a vibrant malt with citrus coming through and a distinctive pineapple note on the nose and palate for me. Glenfiddich favours the pear note more and the malty vanilla of the barrel influence. Will always try to keep a bottle in the collection but due to its ease of drinking, it rarely sees a lot of time on the shelf. Great for introducing friends to whisky as well as it holds up to ice quite well."
"Great speyside for beginners, easy drinking, sweet but not overpowering. Great value"
"Very refreshing tasty just like an apple The nose matches the palate with mango and candied fruits and vanilla notes then finishes with nice smooth butterscotch sweetness and hint of spiciness Lovely pairing with dried mango added to my daily drink lista"
"One of the basic and widely available single malts, this Speysider offers a vibrant and sweet nose and pleasant, albeit quite simple, palate. I enjoy the tropical fruit nature of this dram, which gives some variety from the predominantly green or dried fruit flavours that I typically get in whiskies from this region. When you are looking for something easy to sip casually, this is not a bad option."
"despite it being one of the popular whisky, it is an everyday or regular go to whisky which is more floral ,honey ,vanilla on the nose, apples and toffee notes too. its a bit creamy with a citrus not and also getting the fruity taste, there is also a bit of apple flavor that comes through. it has a medium sweet finish"
"I won't go as far as to say it is a great whisky, but it is also not horrible. I can think of a few other 12 year old whiskies or even NAS whiskies that I'd rather buy in the same price range but if you enjoy a very easy drinking whisky and want something light and fruity to drink, sticking to a familiar brand, it is not a bad dram."
