A single cask release selected by and bottled exclusively for WhiskyBrother. This 11yo whisky was distilled at the Glen Scotia distillery in February 2008 and bottled in April 2019. Matured in a first-fill ruby port hogshead. Only 271 bottles produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at cask strength of 54.5%.

Nose: Soft peat fires, with pineapple and lime before a gentle honeyed sweetness.

Palate: Melted brown sugar and creamy vanilla. Very juicy on the palate. Peat is reserved and builds nicely but never becomes one dimensional.

Finish: Gentle spice with cracked black pepper and ground ginger. A hint of vanilla sweetness and tropical fruit again.

a Juicy delight

"Port, peat, single cask and cask strength. This truly is a juicy delight in a bottle. The dram is punchy yet very drinkable! The nose has a very tarty and fruity flavor with a soft hint of smoke that picks up beautifully on the palate and leaves a sweet strawberry sherbet on the finish. A great value for money whisky and definitely a top dram of 2019!"

absolute amazing dram

"wow! this is an absolutely amazing dram that i have had from the whisky brother exclusives with port cask producing some magic. With sweetness and soft smoke coming through on the nose and a lot is going on there. it has a long finish and i can not resist this single cask whisky"

Port cask magic

"Amazing nose with loads of sweetness probably one of the best noses on a whisky I've had lately but then again i'm a sucker or anything matured in Port casks. The sweetness carries on on the palate with subtle of smoke and some peppery spice that carries onto the finish. These Whiskybrother exclusive bottlings are always crackers."
