DESCRIPTION
Launched in 2021, Foxes Bow is the inaugural release from Alt Liquor Co., a Limerick-based blender. This blended Irish whiskey is initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels, followed by a finishing period in a combination of Oloroso sherry and rye casks—an uncommon combination in Irish whiskey. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Aromatic floral notes leading into sweet vanilla and rounded off by toasted wood.
Palate: Robust but balanced. Beginning with a burst of fruit sherry flavours, followed by a wave of spice and and vanilla.
Finish: Long with lingering sweet fruit and vanilla.
