"WB continue to demonstrate how good their palates are when it comes to picking casks, as I have yet to try one that's off in any way. A warming nose filled with rich red berries and stone fruit and voluptuous sweet buttery oak is carried over and complemented by well-balanced tannins and all-spice on the palate, with grapes in the late development and a medium to long mulled spice finish. A small amount of water opens up the complexities and natural sweetness even further without overwhelming your palate with bitter oak and spice. And these are just the first impressions.
