DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from Dunville's, the historic Belfast whiskey brand revived by the Echlinville distillery in County Down, Northern Ireland. This triple-distilled single malt was distilled in 2014, matured in an ex-bourbon barrel then finished in an Oloroso sherry cask for nearly 3 years, and bottled on 20 May 2026. Only 303 bottles produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 56.1%. (Bottle size 750ml)

NOTES FROM THE WB TEAM

Dunville's was one of Belfast's great whiskey names, founded in 1808 and silent since 1936. The brand was revived in 2012 by the Echlinville Distillery in County Down, who began distilling in 2013 — the first new licensed distillery in Northern Ireland in over 125 years. While their own spirit matures, Dunville's has built its reputation on carefully selected casks of Irish whiskey sourced from older, established distilleries, a very common practice in Ireland. (Although contractually we cannot name the distillery, there are enough clues above and it is reputed to be the oldest in the country!)
