Released in August 2022, this is the 7th release of Compass Box's Flaming Heart. Inspired by a rock song, it was first released in 2006, and then only released every few years when Compass Box have the appropriate combination of aged whiskies. This release combines malts from the Laphroaig, Caol Ila and Talisker distilleries, and a Highland malt blend which spent more than five years in richly toasted virgin French oak custom casks. Only 9,606 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 48.9%.
