Limited to 1 bottle per household.
A limited-edition blended whisky from boutique blenders, Compass Box. Launched in 2023 as the second release in the Extinct Blends Quartet, a collection of four whiskies that pay homage to styles of Scotch from the past. Delos takes its inspiration from Compass Box's extinct blend Asyla, which launched in 2001 and was a cornerstone of the company's core range until its retirement in 2018. Matured exclusively in American oak casks, Delos combines malt whiskies from Glen Elgin, Imperial and Miltonduff, and grain whisky from Cameronbridge. 5,520 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 49%.
Nose: A sweet succulence that breaks upon the nose in soft waves: ripe pear, pineapple, orange oil and vanilla cream.
Palate: A medley of fruit tarts and white chocolate soothe the palate, while the maturity of the component whiskies gradually builds to reveal guava, heather honey and chai spices.
Finish: Long and lingering with vanilla, tropical fruit and great depth.
