DESCRIPTION
A permanent expression from the Bunnahabhain distillery on Islay, forming part of the distillery's core range. "Stiùireadair" (pronounced "stew-rahdur") means "helmsman" in Scots Gaelic, and it's produced from unpeated malt and matured in a combination of first-fill and second-fill sherry casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46.3%. (Bottle size 750ml)
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Dried fruit and creamy caramel, with hints of brine, vanilla, nuts and a touch of spice.
Palate: Creamy mouthfeel with a dried fruit influence, sea salt, creamy caramel, nuts and a gentle spice.
Finish: Long and lingering, with hints of dried fruit.
