A single cask release from the Islay Bruichladdich distillery by family-owned, Scotch whisky distiller, blender and independent bottler Hunter Laing under their First Editions range. Distilled in 1991, matured for 28 years in a refill hogshead and bottled in 2019. Only 295 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 50.7%.
Nose: Vanilla custard, ripe fruits drizzled with honey, and oak.
Palate: Creamy, mellow and smooth with more soft fruits and honey, dark chocolate and some pepper.
Finish: Long with some lingering spice and a hint of oak.
