This limited edition Bowmore was part of a set of three different vintage releases matured in different casks and released in the mid-2000s. This is the 1989 release, matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at cask strength at 51.8%

Nose: A youthful aroma with smoking peat embers.

Palate: Dazzling, multi-layered peat offers various layers of intensity and sweetness, from Fisherman's Friend cough candy to Tyrolean smoked cheese.

Finish: Long with excellent vanilla involvement and a dash of buttery kipper.
