Join us for a day trip to Helden Distillery in Parys, offering guests the chance to experience a working South African craft distillery up close.

Departing by bus from our Hyde Park shop, the day will include an in-depth distillery tour with founder and owner Dr Pieter Van Helden, followed by a tasting, the opportunity to try something special from the cask, lunch and a drink, before returning to Joburg.

This all-inclusive outing is ideal for anyone who has not yet visited a working distillery, as well as enthusiasts keen to see (and support) a distinctive, small-scale SA producer in action. From production and maturation to the final dram in the glass, the visit offers a closer look at how local whisky is being shaped with craft, curiosity, and a uniquely South African perspective.
