A limited edition from the GlenAllachie distillery in Speyside, first released in 2024 as part of their Wood Collection series. Distilled in 2014, matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in Oloroso sherry butts sourced from Jerez. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 48%.
Nose: Heather honey, dark chocolate and dried raisins, with cinnamon, orange peel and roasted nuts.
Palate: Butterscotch, mocha and honeycomb, followed by dried red berries, clove and ginger spice.
Finish: Medium to long, with muscovado sugar, toasted oak and lingering warming spice.
