A limited edition from the GlenAllachie distillery in Speyside, first released in 2024 as part of their Wood Collection series. Distilled in 2014, matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in Fino sherry hogsheads sourced from Jerez. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 48%.
Nose: Green apple, pear drops and heather honey, with roasted almonds, vanilla custard and gentle nutmeg spice.
Palate: Orchard fruits, dried apricot and honeycomb, developing into butterscotch, marzipan and baking spice.
Finish: Medium length, lightly dry with citrus peel, toasted nuts and soft vanilla sweetness.
