A limited edition from the GlenAllachie distillery in Speyside, first released in 2024 as part of their Wood Collection series. Distilled in 2014, matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in Amontillado sherry hogsheads sourced from Jerez. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 48%.
Nose: Honeyed malt, toasted almonds and dried apple, with vanilla, orange zest and light oak spice.
Palate: Caramelised nuts, apricot and butterscotch, followed by baking spice, heather honey and gentle citrus.
Finish: Medium length, slightly dry with toasted oak, almond skins and lingering spice.
