A single cask release from the Linkwood distillery in Speyside, by Adelphi independent bottlers. Distilled in 2011, matured in a refill American oak Oloroso sherry hogshead and bottled in 2023. Only 255 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at a natural strength of 59.1%.

Nose: Werther’s Originals, waffle or pancake batter, bananas foster, rum baba, crème brulee, dulce de leche, pineapple upside down cake, caramelized sugar, overcooked almond cake, tosca cake, gevulde koek, nutmeg.

Palate: Wood spice, hint of Oloroso saltiness, Fisherman’s Friends lozenges, Brazil nut, hazelnut oil, chocolate orange, salty pretzel, Integrated sherry, pimento pepper, allspice, tart cherry, praline.

Finish: Richly textured and mouth-filling, balanced, long, very satisfying finish.
