DESCRIPTION

A limited-edition aged release from Smokehead, the heavily-peated Islay single malt produced at an undisclosed distillery, bottled by Ian Macleod Distillers. Matured for 15 years in ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at 43%.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Intense peat smoke with rosemary, thyme and bonfire embers, layered with citrus peel and vanilla sweetness.

Palate: Full-bodied and robust with maritime brine, seaweed, spice and toffee, all wrapped in muscular peat.

Finish: Long and lingering with lemon zest, coastal sea spray and enduring smoke.
