A exclusive cask strength release from the Dalmunach distillery in Speyside, bottled by independent bottler Duncan Taylor in their Octave range. Distilled in 2015, matured for 8 years in oak casks before being finished for 9 months in a sherrywood octave (approximately 60-litre cask) and bottled in 2023. Only 77 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 55.2%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Dalmunach, built in 2014 in Speyside, is part of the new generation of Scotch distilleries and lies on the site of the old Imperial distillery that was demolished in 2013. Owned by Chivas Brothers and primarily used in their blends, this is the first Dalmunach ever available in SA, and one of the very few opportunities globally to try this new distillery.
