Made from 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Merlot, this 2020 vintage was born of a moderately warm but windy growing season, which resulted in smaller berries with excellent flavour concentration. Grapes were hand-harvested from selected vineyard blocks between 24 March and 4 April, sorted for quality, and co-fermented using wild yeasts in open-top fermenters. The wine matured for 24 months in French oak barriques, 30% of which were new. Residual sugar 2.7g/l. Bottled at 15% (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Intensely aromatic, with layers of cassis, ripe blackberry, and crushed mulberry underscored by graphite and dark plum. Accents of cedar, pencil shavings, and dried violets.

Palate: Sleek and concentrated, the palate opens with a plush wave of black fruit—cassis, black cherry, and mulberry—wrapped in a creamy texture. Subtle cocoa and clove emerge mid-palate, contributing warmth and dimension without distracting from the fruit purity.

Finish: Long and composed, the finish is driven by finely-knit, supple tannins that frame the fruit with precision. A quiet grip and measured acidity carry the wine with elegance.
