De Toren’s flagship Left Bank–inspired Bordeaux blend brings together Cabernet Sauvignon (53%), Merlot (17%), Malbec (13%), Cabernet Franc (12%), and Petit Verdot (5%). Grapes were grown on gravel-rich, sun-exposed slopes that favour Cabernet Sauvignon, the backbone of this wine. Each variety was vinified separately and aged for 12 months in a climatized barrel room, in 225L French and American oak (with Malbec receiving the benefit of American oak). Bottled at 14.5% (Bottle size 750ml).
Nose: Expressive and layered, opening with creamy red fruits, cranberry and cherry, before unfolding into purple plum and blackberry. Subtle notes of graphite and pencil shavings add polish and depth.
Palate: Elegant yet powerful, with concentrated bursts of black and red fruit. Lovely rich notes of plums, bramble and cherries lead into a silky, creamy textured mid-palate.
Finish: Long and composed, with polished fine-grained tannins and lingering fruit intensity. A quiet graphite note and savoury edge provide a refined close, with a lovely acidity that balances the richness.
