A landmark release from Tamdhu Distillery in Speyside, and the inaugural expression in the new Dedication Collection, created to showcase the distillery’s oldest stock. Distilled in 1978, matured for over four decades exclusively in European oak sherry casks sourced from Jerez, Spain, and bottled in 2024. Presented in a hand-blown, eight-edged crystal decanter made in a Victorian style and housed in a bespoke display case handcrafted from wood and brushed metal. Only 100 individually numbered and engraved bottles were produced, two of which will be available in South Africa. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 48.3%.
Nose: Coffee and sherry aromas rise with toffee and coriander balanced with berries and dried spice.
Palate: Orange and molasses emerge from deep sherry notes which unfold into blackcurrant, chocolate and coconut.
Finish: The finish is wonderfully rich, a kaleidoscope of lemon, dried berries and sherry oak.
