Launched in 2023, this limited-edition is the third batch release in the single-estate series from Glenmorangie, using only barley grown in the fields of the Cadboll Estate which surround the distillery. Produced from two separate barley harvests and matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks before finishing a small portion in ex-Amontillado sherry casks. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Aromatic and fragrant with touches of honey, hazelnuts, mandarin oranges and soft, sweet toffee. Followed by notes of sweet ripening barley and baked peaches.
Palate: Sweet and spicy flavours of heather honey, gingerbread, hazelnut praline, fudge, toffee and a touch of clove while the Amontillado cask gives a gentle nuttiness.
Finish: Creamy and spicy, with notes of gingerbread, hazelnuts and toffee.
