DESCRIPTION
The inaugural single malt from the new Aberargie distillery, in the Lowlands. Distilled, matured and bottled entirely on site, this limited release marks the distillery’s first mature expression and establishes the foundations of its house style. Produced from 52% Golden Promise and 48% Laureate barley, all grown on site, and matured in an equal split of first-fill sherry casks (Oloroso and PX) and first-fill bourbon casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 48.2%. (Bottle size 70cl)
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Fresh orchard fruit, lemon peel, and vanilla cream, with light floral notes and a touch of cereal sweetness.
Palate: Soft and clean; green apple, pear drops, and honeyed malt, backed by gentle spice and a creamy texture.
Finish: Medium length, slightly drying, with lingering citrus, light oak, and a hint of white pepper.
