A single cask release from the Isle of Raasay distillery in their Na Sia Single Cask Series which showcases the distilleries six malt recipe casks. This release is produced from unpeated spirit and matured in first-fill Chinkapin oak cask, distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2023. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 61%.

Raasay uses custom-made Chinkapin (Quercus Muehlenbergii) American white oak casks that are freshly charred and toasted. Chinkapin oak is native to central and eastern North America, and the fresh charring provides a rich colour and flavour early on in the maturation process, while the high toast caramelises the natural sugars in the wood. Expect sweet toffee, charred oak and butterscotch with vibrant dark fruit flavours.
