A single cask, cask strength release from the Kavalan distillery in Taiwan, presented as part of their premium Solist sherry wine series. This expression is matured exclusively in a Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry cask, renowned for its intensely sweet, dark and viscous character. Only 398 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 57.8%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Rich in dark syrup and maltose sweetness, it gradually emerges with hints of rosemary and lemongrass. Rich, sweet caramel and chocolate add a charming sweetness to the finish.
Palate: Rich fruitiness blended with chocolate that coats your palate. Fruity and warm, with raisins and honey syrup.
Finish: Rich, sweet caramel and chocolate add a charming sweetness to the finish.
