A single cask, cask strength release from the Kavalan distillery in Taiwan, presented as part of their premium Solist sherry wine series. This expression is matured exclusively in a Manzanilla sherry cask, a rare and distinctive style of sherry known for its dry, coastal and saline character. Only 407 bottles produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at cask strength of 58.6%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Aroma of honeydew melon. A complex and multi-layered fruity flavor along with toffee and cocoa.
Palate: Balanced body. Slight hint of salt, plenty of sweetness with vanilla. Orange, melon, mint accompanied with fresh fruit complexity.
Finish: Fruity cider, coastal and slightly salty.
