A single cask, cask strength release from the Kavalan distillery in Taiwan, presented as part of their premium Solist sherry wine series. This expression is matured exclusively in an Spanish Amontillado sherry cask, a rare sherry style that bridges the richness of Oloroso with the dryness and nutty complexity developed through oxidative ageing. Only 176 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 53.2%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Multi-layered richness and fruity aroma, complimented with dried figs, sweet and sour plums. Hints of hazelnut and almonds.
Palate: Cherry infused baked apple pie, coffee and cinnamon with caramel.
Finish: Long and elegant finish with nuttiness and spicy pepper.
