DESCRIPTION

First released in the early 1980s, the Bushmills 10 Year Old is a triple-distilled Irish single malt, matured for a minimum of ten years in bourbon casks, with a small portion aged in Oloroso sherry casks. Relaunched in 2021 with updated packaging, the 10 Year Old now features a new bottle design inspired by the Giant’s Causeway, the iconic basalt rock formation on Northern Ireland’s coast — a nod to the distillery’s heritage. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Initial accents of zesty citrus fruits intertwine with the distinctive Bushmills honey character, preceding lingering sweet aromas of fresh vanilla and creamy milk chocolate.

Palate: Mellow sweet notes of vanilla, milk chocolate and fresh honeysuckle married with delicate traces of toasted oak.

Finish: A crisp finish that dwindles gently on the palate.

Must have more, Please!

"Would definitely recommend this. Amazing quality, good flavor. Soft and fruity, leaning towards the sweet side with notes of milk chocolate, honey and vanilla coming through. Texture for me is important and this has an elegant silky character. I think it's a must have"

Great whiskey

"A lovely smooth and sweet Irish whiskey. Not overly complex, but a lovely end of day drink. Caramel, peach, vanilla, and fruit. Enjoyed the bottle and will definitely return to this Bushmill's offering."

Quintessential Irish!

"This is quintessential Irish single malt and offers such great drinking! Creamy, baked fruit pudding and soft spice make this a delectably moreish Whiskey. Sure, it's on the pricier side. However all Whisky seems to be nowadays, and this still offers tasty drinkability and nuance all wrapped in lovely new packaging. A great starting point into the world of malt. Recommended."
