"Great balance of both tropical and citrus notes , overripe green and red apples orange and natjie flavours follow through to the pallate . Some spice and rosewater with a chocolate, vanilla , toffee and salty finish. loved it!!"
"The extra cask influence is very apparent with this expression when compared to the 12 year old. Complex aroma of fresh red fruits and vanilla toffee sweetness with a hint of oak on the nose. The palate is very juicy and silky smooth at first before developing into dark chocolate and spices that linger softly in the finish, which stays long and unfurls into an espresso and ripe stone fruit aftertaste."
"My favourite of the lot. Gives everything I love in the 12 year old and so much more. It is priced very reasonable for a 15 year - market related pricing. Those coastal / see flavours linger in the experience and it just works. I really feels like those 3 extra years in casks takes this from a good product to an exceptional product and it warrants the price jump through and through. Honestly a fantastic experience - even better when shared! What a dram!"
"Old Pulteney is one of those brands that looks like it should come with an angry, kilt-wielding Scotsman. Just like the bottle and label, this whisky isn't flashy, but very solid. Think Sherry and coast and surprisingly tasty."
"If you are looking for a whisky to remind you of the coast, this is it. One of the best 15 year olds available. Outperforms many 18 and 21 year olds in terms of smoothness and flavour. The spanish oak imparts it with the slightest sweetness which is excepetional. Well worth adding to your whisky collection."
