DESCRIPTION

Crafted predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon (96%) with a small addition of Petit Verdot (4%), this wine draws fruit from selected vineyards across Stellenbosch. Fermentation was followed by 12 months’ maturation in French oak barrels, allowing structure and complexity to integrate with fruit purity. Bottled at 14.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Deeply aromatic, with concentrated notes of dark plum, cassis, and ripe blueberry. Hints of violet perfume lift the bouquet, while subtle tobacco spice adds a savoury dimension.

Palate: Full and assertive on entry, carrying flavours of cassis and blackberry layered with herbal spice.

Finish: Dense, grainy tannins structure the finish, while a fine thread of freshness keeps the wine lively and poised. A lingering echo of dark fruit and cedar wood.
