DESCRIPTION
Introduced in 1984, Blanton’s Original was the first bourbon to be marketed as a single-barrel release, named in honor of Colonel Albert B. Blanton, legendary master distiller at Buffalo Trace. Each bottle comes from a single barrel hand-selected from the centre of Buffalo Trace’s Warehouse H. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Vanilla, caramel, butterscotch, baking spice, subtle citrus and oak.
Palate: Sweet notes of raisin, brown sugar, and orange, with cinnamon and wood spice.
Finish: Medium length with lingering vanilla and spice.
