Grapes for the Karibib Pinot Noir 2023 were harvested from a vineyard boasting a unique site with dolomite-rich soil and a south-facing aspect, exposed to abundant ocean winds during the growing season. The whole berries were wild-fermented, with the cap only lightly submerged throughout the process. The fermentation is long and slow, followed by gentle pressing into 500-litre aged French barrels. The wine matured for 6 months in the barrels and an additional year in the bottle. Residual sugar: 2.02g/l. Bottled at 12.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Distinct notes of Calamata olives, cherries, and sweet spices, complemented by subtle hints of fynbos flowers.

Palate: A harmonious blend of mixed red berries and a creamy texture, underscored by finely structured tannins.
