A single malt from an undisclosed Speyside distillery, by Adelphi independent bottlers. Distilled in 1992, matured for 30 years in a refill ex-bourbon barrel and bottled in 2023. Only 194 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 50.3%.

Nose: Perfumed soap, baby milk, gooseberry, banana angel delight, plum palinka, cucumber, spicy cedar, sauna, freshly printed posh envelopes, liquorice root, coriander seed, mustard seed, vegetable peel, angelica root, green grape, sherbet, refreshers.

Palate: Woody, nutty, good acidity, grapefruit peel, strawberry cables, rhubarb, gooseberry, marzipan mid-palate, tart, drying nuts, dry spice, rye, sugar-coated almonds.

Finish: Long and drying, sherbet dippers, aniseed. Szechuan Pepper - not a beginner’s dram.
