A small-batch artisanal mezcal from Vago, made with 100% espadin agave by mezcalero Emigdio Jarquin in southern Oaxaca, Mexico. Agave is roasted for five to seven days in an earthen pit before being crushed with a traditional tahona (a stone wheel pulled by a mule), distilled in a copper refrescadera still and hand-bottled at 50.4%.
