IRISH DISTILLERS is the producer behind the world's most celebrated Irish whiskeys, including Jameson, Redbreast, Powers, the Spot Whiskeys and Midleton Very Rare, all produced at Midleton Distillery in County Cork. Founded in 1825, its distilling legacy continued with the opening of the purpose-built New Midleton Distillery in 1975, which combines traditional Irish whiskey-making with exceptional production versatility. This masterclass will explore a specially selected line-up from its renowned portfolio.

The Johannesburg masterclass will be presented by KEVIN O’GORMAN, Master Distiller at Midleton Distillery, while the Cape Town sessions will be presented by GEORGE NOVITSKAS of Pernod Ricard.

Kevin joined Midleton in 1998 and was appointed Master Distiller in 2020, drawing on decades of experience across distillation and maturation. As Kevin is unable to attend both shows, he will present the Johannesburg masterclasses, with the Cape Town sessions presented by George Novitskas, an experienced premium spirits professional at Pernod Ricard and a Keeper of the Quaich.
