Released in 2019, a limited edition 15yo single malt whisky from the Campbeltown Springbank distillery. Distilled in December 2003, matured for 15 years in ex-rum casks and bottled in August 2019. A total of 9,000 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 51%.
Nose: A sweet tropical dram with coconut, pineapple and banana aromas. The sweetness continues with toasted marshmallows and sticky toffee pudding but is balanced with a hint of peat.
Palate: A velvety smooth richness of decadent desserts such as a tropical meringue pavlova, creme brûlée, toffee apple pecan pie, along with citrus yuzu notes. There’s also an earthy quality from the Springbank dunnage warehouses.
Finish: The earthy quality now comes to the fore and finishes on a gentle dry note.
