Bottled by independent bottlers Hunter Laing in their Sovereign (SOV) range, this Port Dundas single grain Scotch whisky was distilled in February 1990 and bottled in November 2017. Matured in a single refill ex-bourbon barrel that produced 258 bottles. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at cask strength of 51.5%.
Nose: Banana fritters, a hint of buttered corn, marshmallow and dried fruit.
Palate: Apricot and nectarine fruitiness, bubblegum, white chocolate and pine resin.
Finish: A spark of toasted cassia and white pepper spiciness.
