Produced at the Medine distillery which is located on the west coast of Mauritius and has been making rum since 1926. Distilled in 2011 and matured in an ex-sherry cask. Only 138 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 48%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: An abundance of ripe fruits, most precisely of prunes, cherries, and sweet grapes. Almond paste and marzipan are present and also other patisserie notes and marmalade. A touch of spice with some smoky tobacco aromas.

Palate: Sweetness is also very present on the palate, which is characteristic of this type of rum. Ripe fruits, patisserie flavours and treacle sugar coating the entire tongue.

Finish: Full-bodied with a long finish, echoing everything just experienced on the nose and palate.
