Oldenburg Vineyards Rhodium 2013 is produced from a blend of 75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot and 5% Malbec. A classical right-bank Bordeaux style blend by Oldenburg's winemaker Philip Costandius. Grapes were hand-picked and hand sorted on arrival in the cellar, followed by a 3-day cold soak and pump-overs three times a day during the early part of fermentation. Matured for 19 months in French oak barrels, half of which were new. Bottled at 14%. (Bottle size 750ml)
