Produced exclusively from heavily-peated malted barley and matured in a combination of first-fill and refill American oak ex-bourbon casks. Although made with malted barley, this is a grain whisky due to the fact it was distilled in a column still; an oddity in the best way possible and something only Loch Lomond can pull-off. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Clove, vanilla and blackcurrant.
Palate: Sweet tangy peat, green apple, lime citrus and aniseed.
Finish: Crispy dry finish with distant peat smoke.
