A blend of 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Hand-picked harvest, total destemming and hand-sorted grapes. Fermentation for 6-8 days with 28-30 days of maceration. Matured for 12 months in 15% French oak barrels and 85% cement vats. Bottled at 13%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Appealing aromas of blackcurrant and other black fruit.

Palate: First impressions on the palate are soft and rather vibrant, dominated by the Merlot’s smoothness; this is followed by well-incorporated tannins sporting a veritable fruit basket of flavours.

Finish: A well balanced wine with smooth tannins, elegant finish.
