A single malt from the Knockando distillery in Speyside. Gaelic for "Little Black Hill", less than 10% of Knockando production is kept for single malt with the remainder forming a key component of the J&B blend. Knockando Master Reserve was distilled in 1997 and matured for 21 years before being bottled at 43%.
Nose: Warming, complex and fruity with vanilla and oak tones.
Palate: Soft, smooth and very rich. Oak and almond notes with a hint of strawberry and velvety fruit.
Finish: Intense, with a hint of oak, lightly fruity and peaty.
