Loch Gorm has been a feature of the Kilchoman core range since its release in 2012 and is the only whisky in the Kilchoman range to be fully-matured in ex-sherry casks. The 2020 release is a vatting of 21 Oloroso sherry butts from 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011. A total of 15,500 bottles were produced. Bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Sweet maltiness, sooty peat smoke and citrus sweetness with light cinnamon and juicy raisins and sultanas.
Palate: Toffee, smoked meats and sherry sweetness with layers of ripe fruit, honey and hints of orange peel and sea salt.
Finish: BBQ smoke, dark chocolate with apples, pears, plums, raisins and lasting oak spice.
