A single cask release of Glen Moray bottled by Adelphi independent bottlers. Distilled in 2008, matured for 10 years in a first-fill, ex-bourbon barrel (200L) and bottled in 2019. Only 216 bottles produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at cask strength of 59.4%.
Nose: A light prickle to start, but well worth the wait once it passes. Lemon meringue pie with fresh cream, litchi sorbet and raspberry coulis.
Palate: Eucalyptus, mints, and strawberry and cream sweets.
Finish: The strawberry continues with boiled sweets, icing sugar and bonbons.
